About Rudham C of E Academy and Weasenham C of E Academy 

Rudham and Weasenham are two small, rural Church of England Primary schools situated in the beautiful Norfolk countryside. The two schools Federated in 2011 and on 1^st June 2016 joined the Diocese of Norwich Education and Academies Trust, DNEAT. Being Federated and part of DNEAT enables us to build on our strengths and experiences to create a richer and better quality of learning for all of our children.

We believe a creative, well balanced and topic based curriculum is essential to all of our children and would like every child to have a happy, safe and inspirational engagement with their education. We are passionate that every child enjoys the best opportunities to widen their aspirations, develop and stretch their abilities.

This is what Mrs Louisa Odell, the Finance Manager of the Federation had to say about the project:

 Technology plays a key role in a child’s experience at school and being at the cutting edge of technology is a real treat for such small, rural schools. The support we received from Proactive was second to none , we purchased eight screens and the turnaround of the project from start to finish was a matter of days. The aftercare and training sessions we have received since installations have also been fantastic.

 I have found the boards to be really useful for sound and visual quality! It is much better not to have to worry about having the curtains closed to block out the glare from the sun! I am still getting the hang of many features but I am enjoying the basics at the moment and being able to pick up a pen and write without needing to calibrate the board each time! I am looking forward to finding out more about Lynx and how to use this in my lessons.
